a dance piece by Anna Konjetzky
Anna Konjetzky’s new piece for young audiences moves between dance and concert. A rap of feminist voices – wild, thought-provoking, rebellious, calling out: sound off, dare, believe in yourself, stand up for yourself and your friends. Three dancers and a singer gropingly search for their place in the world. With their bodies, live camera, beats and voices, they go in search of role models, form communities, want to be seen and heard and allow themselves to be different. They shake up injustices – with power and joy. Quotes, video and music are sampled to create a collage of protest in which the echo of many and multilingual voices reverberates through the ages into the present day: It’s cool to be feminist!
From the age of 13.
